Introducing Maura Wong Cooper, the founder of Moving with Confidence, based in Sonoma County, California. With nearly two decades of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, Maura has honed her expertise over the last ten years as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS), focusing on those with sight loss. Her commitment to innovation in the field led her to earn a graduate certificate in Assistive Technology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and she has been successfully instructing in this area since 2023. Additionally, Maura's experience extends to working with neurodivergent, medically fragile, and intellectually disabled populations. In her personal life, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, practicing yoga, and roller skating with her children.
