  • Do I have to be legally blind or have no sight at all to receive services?
    No. We work with people who have low vision and functional sight loss, in addition to people who are considered to be legally blind or totally blind.
  • I have sight loss; where do I start?
    Contact us today and we can walk you through the steps. The first step is to complete our intake form so we can learn more about you. We can help you with that our you can submit one through our website. Refer to the Getting Started page.
  • How much do your services cost?

  • My family or friend has sight loss, not me, can I sign them up?
    Sure, give us a call or complete the intake form, and we will contact you. It is important to know that we are not just for people with sight loss. We are here for their support team as well. That means you! Contact us today, and let's talk about how we can help.
  • What does it mean to be legally blind?
    According to the United States Federal Regulations (2024) the definition of legal blindness is as follows: "We will consider you blind under the law for a period of disability and for payment of disability insurance benefits if we determine that you are statutorily blind. Statutory blindness is defined in the law as central visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye with the use of correcting lens. An eye which has a limitation in the field of vision so that the widest diameter of the visual field subtends an angle no greater than 20 degrees is considered to have a central visual acuity of 20/200 or less."   • Do you have scholarships or grants to help pay for services?
